Ferguson is seeking an experienced Perl Developer to join our collaborative team within the Goshen, NY office. This is an outstanding opportunity for a web development professional with superb Perl, MySQL, Linux, HTML, and JavaScript skills to take on new challenges within an established and growing organization.
As a Perl Developer, your focus will be on finding creative solutions that support many of our important eCommerce sites across the Ferguson.com family such as FergusonShowrooms.com
You will work to build solutions for customizing, rebuilding and creating various features within our websites. You-ll be responsible for developing code that can be easily updated to fix bugs and make changes. We believe scalable code is good code. As Ferguson continues to build our already established brand within the digital marketplace, you will also have the chance to work on a range of other projects in addition to your day-to-day programming.

- Experience with Perl, MySQL, Linux, HTML, JavaScript - Strong fundamental knowledge of object oriented programming is essential
- Knowledge of web design and development process including front-end and back-end development and server side scripting - An advanced understanding of eCommerce platforms and systems
