JOB DESCRIPTION
Information Technology student to work as intern with the IGF Sales enablement Web development squad. Responsibilities may include test automation support, updating customer deliverables in XML/XSLT format and web page development in javascript and java. The application is a global application used by IBM Global Financing sellers to help drive IBM revenue. The intern will be applying Agile practices as a member of the web development squad. The intern will work part-time during the school year as well as during school breaks. Student or Graduate Student to assist with development and testing of web based applications (Java, Websphere based). Possible exposure to database administrator role IGF GCMS and CFE development teams Java / J2EE, application programming or database administration DB2, automated testing tools Code development, testing, DBA, Agile development Increase overall development and test capability of IGF CIO Contracts team. The contracts applications support over 1 Billion USD in financing originalations every month. Team player, willingness to learn, interest in appliction development.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Will require Java / J2EE, application programming or database administration experience.
