Come develop software for a data-driven technology company working at the intersection of satellite feeds, transportation networks, and global weather. Write code and create algorithms to solve complex problems with experts from across a wide range of disciplines. We are expanding company with offices in the UK and Hudson Valley NY and are looking to fill a full-time on-site position immediately.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
coming into the office everyday to code and develop cool things
participating in a multi-team, multi-office collaboration of several massive cloud deployments
gathering requirements, working on iterative solutions to solve complex problems
engaging in daily stand-ups and supporting existing/legacy applications
documenting, testing, and optimizing code
QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 years of development experience (internship, project work and/or professional)
Experience with hands-on coding with Javascript, Typescript and NodeJS
Good understandings of OO development and agile methodologies
Experience with deployment on cloud based architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Experience with developing for Web APIs (rest, json, oauth)
Additional experience with frameworks such as Vue, NestJS, Vueify would be nice
