Unlimited Tomorrow’s mission is to empower amputees with an intuitive, scalable model to create custom devices from start to finish. We utilize the newest technologies such as 3D scanning, 3D printing, and machine learning to make the next generation of artificial limbs at the lowest cost possible.
We are seeking a college student for the role of Software Web Developer who will be responsible for the general implementation of our web based automation and UI systems in conjunction with our Full Stack web developer. Duties will involve implementation and deployment of versatile internal and client facing web UIs for control and configuration of our devices, integration of various cloud APIs into a coherent automation system, and ongoing improvement and maintenance of these systems.
Projects may include, but will not be limited to:
- Effectively design and handle implementation of a robust, enterprise grade customer management and manufacturing workflow automation system
- Design and implement simple, but powerful, product configuration UIs for internal manufacturing use, in-field data acquisition, and client-facing fine tuning of devices
- Collaborate with multiple partners in the design automation and machine learning spaces to integrate their systems into ours
- Collaborate with our internal embedded systems engineers, marketing team, and manufacturing team to stitch together and balance IT infrastructure requirements
Requirements
Software Web Developer Requirements:
- Process of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues
- Ability to work within an agile project management infrastructure, interacting with a number of interdisciplinary teammates
- Willingness and desire to learn new technologies that can benefit our customers, staff, and product
- Excellent grasp of web fundamentals - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
- Ability to work within strict HIPAA system security guidelines with assistance from external consultants and auditors
- Experience integrating and working with REST APIs
- Experience with databases
- Experience with cloud server management (Azure (Microsoft) preferred)
