Purpose of the course and Course Description |
This course is a comprehensive introduction to C++ programming and data structures at the level of Computer Science I and II. Covers Array, Linked Lists, Stacks and Queues, Recursion, Trees, Hash Tables, Sorting, Searching, Input/Output. |

Homeworks will be posted on the course web site. These will not be graded, but the tests will be based on the homework. |

Attendance/Late arrival |
Attendance in the class is mandatory. Please talk to me in case of unavoidable emergencies. The class starts at 8.30 AM. Be prepared to come on time, and allow sufficient time to find parking. |

|
Labs |
The course has a three-hours-per-week laboratory component. The lab meeting times will be arranged with the TA on the first day of classes. In the lab, held in HUM301, you will have the opportunity to go over homework with the TA, clarify your questions and get general programming help. Attendance in the lab is mandatory. |
